Calendering

What is calendering?

During calendering, the rubber usually runs over two to four rollers, the temperature of which can be controlled. Different shapes and properties of the material can be determined by the arrangement and temperature of the rollers. As with
extrusion
the molded parts can be processed as long as required. Films or sheets are most frequently produced with the calenders.
